INTRODUCING THERAPEUTIC ARTS
Creative Wellbeing Workshop
Thursday 4 May 2023 10:00 – 13:00
About the event
Therapeutic Arts offer a dynamic approach, working with a range of art forms. These enable expression of our inner world , and can get to the heart of our feelings and experiences without depending on words. They can enable a shift in focus, new possibilities and ways forward. Being creative is healing in itself and here we explore, with curiosity, how to use the arts more deeply.
This three-hour, experiential workshop will introduce this approach through 2 mediums – paint and clay. No artistic or therapy experience necessary, just a willingness to have a go and explore. This is an introductory workshop rather than an Art Therapy group session.
The workshop is facilitated by Steffie’s Arts Space. Steffie is a Therapeutic Arts Practitioner and experienced facilitator.
Here’s some feedback from a previous participant: ‘Safe reflective space, eye opening, heart warming’.
