Portrait Drawing Evening
Blue & Berry Gallery in collaboration with Northern Realist are bringing you weekly drawing sessions with long poses. Each week we will alternate between Portrait Drawing and Life Drawing.
A long pose lasting the entire session will give you the chance to work from a model over a longer period of time than is usually possible.
The sessions are not taught although there is always friendly advice on hand if you’d like a bit of help or feedback. All you need to bring along is whatever you want to work with and lots of enthusiasm.
The gallery will be open from 7:00pm if you want to arrive early to get set up, positions and easels are available on a first come, first served basis. The session will finish at 10.00pm.
One of the intentions of Blue & Berry and Northern Realist is to create a hub for like minded artists to meet, swap ideas and see different techniques being used while pushing their own abilities. These drawing sessions offer a great way to do this.
Everyone is welcome and if you are interested in studying with Northern Realist, these sessions are a great opportunity to get an idea of what’s on offer.
