About Us
Welcome to Blue & Berry Art Gallery. Blue & Berry is a welcoming, cosy and creative space for you to view and create art, have coffee, practice mindfulness, and enjoy inspiring conversation.
We started Blue & Berry Art Gallery with the intention of championing, supporting and showcasing the work of outstanding artists from the North West and beyond, and debuting pieces by Fine Arts Graduates. You are welcome to visit the gallery, to spend time viewing the art and to simply enjoy the exhibits.
Awareness of the positive impact creativity has on our mental health is the foundation on which this brand is built. Our goal is to build a stimulating and inspiring art space to encourage creativity and build community. We run a varied programme of art workshops and specialist events throughout the year including painting and drawing courses, life drawing evenings, artist talks, wine tasting and mindfulness practices.
We take pride in providing quality hospitality to all our guests. You can expect to be greeted with a warm welcome and be thoroughly looked after each time you visit.
The Gallery
The gallery building, with high ceilings supported structurally and aesthetically by green oak trusses and beams, is suffused with natural light which pours through the space, illuminating the artwork and enhancing our artists’ beautifully crafted pieces.
Our Story
We started Blue & Berry Art Gallery with the intention of championing, supporting and showcasing the work of outstanding artists from the North West and beyond, and debuting pieces by Fine Arts Graduates.

Creating a welcoming environment and using the art space to encourage creativity and community is an important part of what we do at Blue & Berry. We run a varied programme of art workshops and specialist events throughout the year including painting and drawing courses, life drawing evenings, artist talks, wine tasting and mindfulness practices.

Why did we choose the name Blue & Berry?
Language itself is a form of art. Language allows us to connect, to communicate, we tell stories with language. Language evokes connotations, emotion and feelings. Language is important.
We wanted to choose a name that was simple and memorable, a name that initiated feelings of community and inclusivity.
We liked the way Blue & Berry sounded and the way it felt. The name made us feel creative and curious. It felt warm and inviting. Blue and Berry are both colours, fitting for a gallery. Blue is art, Berry is coffee. Art and coffee. Coffee, to us, symbolises community. The addition of the ‘and’ was important to us. And is positive, inclusive and expansive. We are Blue and Berry, we are calm and vibrant, we are open to this, and that, we appreciate this and we appreciate that, you are welcome and so are you.
What does our logo represent to us?
Firstly, what does it represent to you?
When you view art at Blue & Berry we will encourage you to look, feel and form your own opinion first, before learning what the artist or creator was inspired by or was hoping to encourage you to feel.
The Blue & Berry logo represents a physical art gallery with high ceilings and large windows, inspiration was taken from the gallery building which is a work of art in itself. We wanted our logo to evoke connotations of art deco, architecture, the Tate, multiculturism, quality, precision, detail, something inspiring and extraordinary, art…
It was important for us to create a brand we were proud of, a strong foundation to represent the quality of brand we intended to build. Our designer, Joe, helped us to achieve this and remains a valuable part of our team to date.
Our Team
Jessica Flewitt – Founder & Creative Director
Jess founded Blue & Berry Art Gallery in April 2022 and works with our artists and collectors on a daily basis. Jess holds a Law degree LLB (hons) from Manchester University and a diploma from the Chartered Institute of Marketing. After studying art to A level Jess has maintained a profound interest and passion for art throughout her life, buying her first original in Kuala Lumpur in her early 20’s. Jess owns work by a number of artists on the website and is an avid collector of work by emerging artists.
Personal experience and training in therapy have been an important part of Jess’ life and ultimately led to the creation of this brand. Jess is a huge advocate of mental health and is passionate about the benefits creativity can have on wellbeing.

You are so very welcome to visit the gallery, to spend time viewing the art and simply to enjoy the exhibits. A varied programme of art workshops is planned, along with cultural and culinary events, and we would be delighted to see you at these events in the near future.
Blue & Berry Art Gallery, located near to Knutsford, is a carefully curated and progressive art space exhibiting the work of established artists from the North West and beyond, and debuting pieces by talented Fine Arts graduates.
The gallery building, with high ceilings supported structurally and aesthetically by green oak trusses and beams, is suffused with natural light which pours through the space, illuminating the artwork and enhancing our artists’ beautifully crafted pieces.
Each element of art or sculpture is thoughtfully displayed and a biography of individual artists is provided, offering insight into every craftsperson’s vision and passion for their art.
Our intention is to rotate exhibitions every eight weeks, with each preceded by a preview evening, where all attending may connect with the artists in a creative, stimulating and social setting.
We welcome everyone to Blue & Berry Art Gallery where we intend to create a warm and friendly environment for all those visiting. We are passionate about establishing genuine relationships between art enthusiasts, collectors and craftspeople, allowing our visitors to connect with the pieces displayed and the stories behind them to ensure that each purchase is a memorable and enjoyable experience for both artist and buyer.
