About Sarah
Sarah grew up in Stockport, Manchester, and is now based just a few miles away in Cheadle. She is known for her evocative city scenes, which are deeply inspired by the city’s rich heritage and her personal connection to her roots. Her work blends proportion with artistry and a painterly touch, capturing not just how the city looks, but how it feels.
Sarah studied Art History and Archaeology at Nottingham University before completing a degree in Fashion Design from Manchester Metropolitan. This unique combination of academic knowledge and creative training has shaped her artistic style. It was during her fashion design studies that Sarah first discovered digital painting, a technique she embraces and incorporates into her work.
Sarah’s career has been guided by a deep, infectious curiosity. She’s never been one to settle into a role where she’s stopped learning, when a job no longer challenged or inspired her, she trusted her instincts and moved on. Energised by her desire for growth, meaningful connection, and a life rich with joy, her momentum is both fresh and inspiring. It’s a testament to her creative spirit – ever curious, ever evolving, and always moving forward.
Sarah is guided by a strong moral compass, particularly in her creative work and this integrity has been a defining thread throughout her career. She has consistently chosen to walk away from opportunities that clashed with her values, whether that meant stepping back from unsustainable practices in homeware and fashion, avoiding imitation in favour of original ideas, or distancing herself from environments where she wasn’t seen or valued. She’s deeply mindful of the impact her choices make and trusts her intuition to steer her toward what feels right for her career.
With kindness at her core and a calm, curious energy, Sarah moves through life with quiet confidence and unwavering authenticity.
