Ann-Marie is a contemporary abstract artist painting in multi-layered acrylics and mixed media.

Ann-Marie is a contemporary abstract artist painting in multi-layered acrylics and mixed media to create seascapes and landscapes, often inspired by walks along the north Cornish coastline observing the continually changing light and weather. Whilst often painting from memory, Ann-Marie also uses photographs as a point of reference for her work.

After studying Textile Design, Ann-Marie forged a career in interior design for 20 years, taking early retirement in order to focus on her art practice, remaining influenced by the seasons, towards which she is observant, curious and experimental with colour and texture. Originally from Didsbury, South Manchester, she now lives in Chester. She has exhibited widely throughout the North West.
